Planning Applications Procedure
How the parish council responds to planning applications.
The Planning Authority for our area is South Glos. Council (SGC) who are responsible for all planning matters.
The parish council is a “statutory consultee” which means we must be notified of all planning applications within the parish and are able to make comments on them. We do not make any decisions about granting or withholding planning permission, but can give useful local insight.
This procedure sets out how the council will respond to planning application notifications and how residents can sign up to receive notifications from SGC.
